Repair of engines and vehicles


The vehicle service station at Andoria-Mot performs the following services:

  • repair of delivery vans: GAZELLE, LUBLIN, HONKER, LDV: the company specialises in repairing power transmission systems (engines, gears, rear axles, etc.),
  • repairing engines produced by the company (mostly 4C90 and SW400 series engines), with several repair options available.


All major repairs of engines are performed according to the technical descriptions to guarantee full renovation and complete meeting of specifications for use.

Repairs to engines and their components are carried out using specialised machines and equipment, as used to produce new engines. All operations are carried out by qualified staff with many years of experience.


EXAMPLES OF REPAIR OPTIONS:


OPTION I: Repair of engine, without accessories


Each major repair involves:

  • replacement of the parts of the piston-crank system with brand new parts: pistons, piston rings, main and crankshaft bearing pillows, cylinder sleeves,
  • crankshaft grinding, hardening and polishing,
  • weight selection of the piston-crankshaft-pin assembly,
  • replacement of valve guides and valves, as well as grinding of the valve seats,
  • checking engine head tightness,
  • checking block tightness,
  • replacement of sealing, gaskets and bearings,
  • checking the engine for the following:
    - initial breaking-in,
    - valve clearance adjustment,
    - correct operation,
    - power measurement and fuel consumption.


OPTION II: Repair of engine and accessories


This option includes all the services performed as part of option I, along with:

  • fuel equipment regeneration (Motorpal injection pump, high voltage cables; Bosch injection pumps are not renovated – adjustment only),
  • renovated of the electrical fittings.

If parts are missing from an engine handed over for repair, we provide the elements that are required and add their cost to the standard price.
